The Big Sister Foundation is a philanthropic foundation that exists to provide funding to community organisations who support women in the Sutherland Shire.

IMB Community Foundation provided a grant for $30,000 to support 130 families whose disadvantage divide was deepened post COVID. These funds enabled us to purchase large essential items including cots, carseats and prams and preloved clothing, toys and linen; ensuring their babies and children are safe when they are sleeping, travelling and playing.

St George Foundation provided a grant for $40,000 to fund cots, prams and car seats to reduce our waitlists.This generous support has already made a different to 120 families in the community.

St George Foundation helps to create brighter futures for children in Austraila who are experiencing disadvantage.

The Rotary Clubs in the Sutherland Shire have a proud history of serving the community and Dandelion Support Network is just one of the projects and programmes that they support. We are grateful for financial and other support received to date from the Rotary Clubs of Gymea, Caringbah, Cronulla and Engadine.

The Sutherland District Trade Union Club (Tradies) has been a long-time supporter of Dandelion both financially and through ongoing volunteering. Tradies exists to support our members by providing a welcoming environment for them to enjoy, to help our community grow and develop to its full potential and to protect our environment through sustainable practices.

Pramfix provides service, understanding and advice on restoration and repairs of baby goods. More than once has Pramfix been the deciding factor between Dandelion providing support or putting another family on the waitlist. They are Master Tinkerers in the highest order, fixing prams that have been declared ‘unfixable’ by other repairers and they are certified warranty repairers for the vast majority of the big nursery item brands. So it isn’t just us who utterly trust their advice and work.

We are very grateful for the support Canvas have provided. Not only is the company dedicated to the values of sustainability and compassion (just like us) their product literally makes our lives easier and our work faster on a daily basis. For the uninitiated, Canvas is to paper forms what Kindle is to books. Their service quickly allows you to turn your paper forms into applications on your smart phone. Canvas has apps for business, NFP and everyday things like fitness, kid-wrangling and more.
